Sometimes I just never know what’s on my Cowboy’s mind. But, with that being said, sometimes it’s best for me not to know. I learned a long time ago (a long long time ago) that my guy is a straight shooter. Ask him his opinion and he will give it to you, not in color but in black and white. He doesn’t mince words and he doesn’t speak without thinking.
But again, one never knows what’s going to come out of his mouth-
ME: (Speaking to Cowboy while he’s trying to watch a movie that I’ve already become bored with) Did you know that the words LISTEN and SILENT have the same letters in it?
COWBOY (Speaking without looking at me): Sounds like two words that you could practice doing more of.
ME: (Acting shocked but also realizing he’s probably right) What? Me? What do you mean?
COWBOY: (Chuckling) Yes you. How about we practice them right now?
ME: Pfft!
