Sweet Jesus y’all…I’m dying here. I’m like the wilted flowers I planted last month and forgot to water. I have spent more time out on green acres than I had EVER imagined.
Don’t get me wrong I love it out here. The views are amazing, the hummingbirds are amazing. Even the cows are amazing. I love everything except for the snakes, the scorpions and the coyotes.
I’m a firm believer that things are better in moderation. All things. And right now, in this moment in my life, I am on non-moderation quarantine overload. I’m pretty sure I just made that one up but you get the point.
You know I love to redecorate, repaint and repurpose. But for the love of all things right in this world. I am done. Not only have I organized every square inch of this house (today was my sundry drawer in the kitchen). Who does that?!
I have also remodeled this house forty four times… in my head.
Maybe it’s not a bad thing to channel my inner Joanna Gaines. But it’s getting a little crowded in here with Joanna (Chip left the building along with Cowboy), Kelly Wearstler AND Ralph Lauren. All of which happen to be a few of my favorite designers/decorators. But as much as I love those peeps, they need to stay out of my head and out of my space because if I mention another remodeling idea to Cowboy, I do believe he will take me out to the pasture and leave me there.. with the snakes, and the scorpions and the coyotes… yikes!
So mums the word around here when it pertains to changing things up.
But I will share with you that with all of this time on my hands, I’ve definitely learned a thing or two about myself. Next week, I’ll share the good, the bad and the ugly of yours truly while in non-moderation quarantine lock down. All of it! It’s not pretty y’all. Not pretty at all!
