The other day I was chatting with one of my beautiful friends and she asked me a question that got me to thinking-
Does a man’s eye see things differently than a woman’s eye OR does a woman see things that a man doesn’t?
On behalf of the Gilbert house, let me just answer that for you, right here and right now. YES. And please remember this is only my opinion (but it’s the only one that counts).
So, does a woman see things that a man does not?
Answer: YES (again). Sometimes men see the good things and sometimes men see the “not so good things”. And sometimes men’s eyeballs are just being ignorant and completely ignore the things that they should see.
Case in point (circa 1995)-
ME: (I’m walking down the hall and step on an arm that belongs to Sweet Girl’s Beach Barbie) Gosh dang it!! That hurt!
COWBOY: (Walking past me) I stepped on that same arm this morning.
ME: (Hopping on one foot while I rub the other one) Sweet Jesus! Did you not think to pick it up? Thanks to you I have a Barbie arm indention on my right foot!
COWBOY: (Chuckling) No I really didn’t.
ME: Why?
COWBOY: Because I didn’t put it there.
For the love of Jesus, God and bananas he may not make it to next Sunday.
P.S. Men and their eyeballs are sometimes dumb.
