What is microblading? This question is one that I am asked on a daily basis. I cannot tell you how many women come into the spa and want microblading. It is THE procedure of the year! If it is done correctly, microblading is a beautiful and natural looking procedure. We are women and we are made to juggle, multitask or whatever else you want to name it. When it comes to makeup and skincare, we want our life to be as easy as possible.
When choosing a microblading artist you must do your research. Take the time to meet with several artists. Go with your gut feeling.
Answer: Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to add permanent pigment to the skin.
Question: How long does the procedure take?
Answer: Your treatment session should be approximately 90 minutes long. This gives the specialist adequate time to consult, numb, measure and blade. The specialist should also give you post-care instructions.
Question: What type of healing should I expect?
Answer: The healing process is quite easy, you will be required to apply an ointment for 3 days. You will experience flaking and itching which is your bodyโs way of healing. Things to remember when healing:

Question: How does microblading differ from traditional tattoo?
Answer: Microblading differs from traditional tattoo in several ways.
Microblading is more of a superficial tattoo.
A thicker pigment is used for the microblading tattoo.
A manual tool vs a tattoo machine is used.
Microblading does not have the longevity of a traditional tattoo. It typically lasts up to 12-14 months.
Microblading replicates hairline strokes for a more natural look.
